Privacy policy
This policy covers the information TODAY Fitness Equipment collects through this website, and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
What we collect
Three things, and only when you offer them.
- Consultation bookings. The name, email address and any notes you enter when you book. Bookings run through Calendly, so your details are held by Calendly as well as by us.
- Trade updates. Your email address, if you sign up. Nothing else.
- Site analytics. Standard Shopify statistics about pages viewed and where visitors arrived from. This is not tied to a name.
This site does not take payments and has no checkout, so no card or bank details are collected here.
What we do with it
We use it to answer you, to prepare a specification or a quotation, and to send trade updates if you asked for them. We do not sell it and we do not trade it. It is shared only with the services that make the site work, which are Shopify, Calendly and our email provider, and with a supplier or installer where that is necessary to fulfil something you have asked us to do.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and project records are kept while a project is live and for as long afterwards as our tax and business records require. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe, which every email lets you do in one click.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to steve@todayfitness.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
